Journal entry # 3.

Today I was checking the homework in the class, I think it is better to do inside the class to clarify any misunderstanding or any question left from the last class.One neccesary thing to do it possible is one monitor and one task in the board, student´s discipline depends on how much busy they are , so kep them busy while you are checking .They also really like to participate writing the correct answers of the homework on the board, so I put the numbers of the questions and then number the students fo each question in order to come to the board and write it on the board, then I asked them to compare those answers and rise their hand if there is any comment about , I really enfasize in the way they express themself because they tend to be rude with their classmates.I just correct some of the mistakes and finally practice some pronunciation and motivate them ,here is really important to motivate students because it is the sparkle of your class, for me is more easy to teach a class when students feel confident and comfortable in spite they commitsome mistakes , but it is important to remember them that they are in the process of learning and that it is ok to do it wrong but to learn from that.

    I totally agree with you. Students tend to be very rude when some of them commit mistakes in front of the class. It is our job to remind them that it is normal in the learning process and that they should be respectful as their jokes could demotivate others.

Journal entry #5 During the process of teaching I realized that each one has a way and a time to get the complete idea of how to deal and performance as a good English teacher, I am trying to reflect about how the time and the experience would help us to deal with future situations inside the classroom such as plan b, two hours of class or more,and some tasks for student´s because you have to leave the class for any meeting . It had happend to me all the time , for me it´s really serious to teach something meaningful in my classes and when this situations occurs it is like no idea what to do , first because in my case I have to be updated on the pages of the student´s book and with the syllabus, and also I planned my class but a pop -meeting takes place so I have to think what should I ask students to do meanwhile I am out and also not to make so much noise and disturb other classes.But as I said with the time I learned some tips such as dictionary use , or group work .

What makes a good teacher? In my opinion it depends on different aspects,it is also important to highlight that there are many perceptions of good teachers around the worls,some people think good teacher are those who are very strict and good at classroom management, but I think it is not only the performance ,it is also about the academic background ,I mean a good teacher cares about her or his career ,in the way of growing as a professional not only for their own gain but also for enhace the way they explain and bring more strategies to the classroom.Another aspect is how responsable teacher are when they have to plan their lesson plan,it is a balance between explainning and students selfwork,to avoid being the lazy teacher how only put to translate or just show a video ,those are neccesary startegies but not to be unresponsable .At the end I think a good teacher is the one how loves what he or she does,how finds joy in what they do in their classroom and how also wants to be a bett...
